Local Beaches
Grannies Beach
Nice little swimming beach, protected from the sea breeze by the northern breakwall. Great place for a coffee in the morning from the Green Beanie coffee van.
Port Denison Foreshore
Whether it is fish and chips for lunch sitting on the lawn, a leisurely walk or even just watching the cray boats coming in and out of the Port Denison Marina, the foreshore has it all! Certain weekends, the Shire of Dongara offers Show and Shine weekend for car lovers along with the Port Denison Sprint and of course the annual Blessing of the Fleet.
South Beach
A beach that needs to be seen as part of your stay! Drive onto and down the beach, park your car at the waters edge for your own piece of paradise. The beach can be accessed by 2WD most of the time.

Things to do in Dongara/Port Denison
While Port Denison has the marina, the boats and the swimming beaches, Dongara also has a lot to offer. Separated by the Irwin River, it is where two towns become one!
